ABOUT ANNIE

Annie Situ (Sydney, Australia) started Annie Makes Cakes with a passion to create authentic desserts for family and friends. Her concoctions of flavours, textures and style derive from her love for art and Australian-Chinese heritage.

Annie began to pursue her pastry dream following high school when she was awarded a Patisserie scholarship. Following this, she continued to study Hospitality, Tourism and Marketing at UNSW, evolving her passion for pastry and entrepreneurship.

Annie and her team continues in striving to create a range of authentic cakes made from scratch using only the best ingredients, drawing inspiration from her travel and career.

Interesting fact – Annie doesn’t really have a sweet tooth! So it explains why her cakes are not overly sweet.

Established in 2016, Annie Makes Cakes grew from supplying to the general public at pop-ups, to now wholesalers, retailers and corporate clients. With aims to expand the brand nationally and internationally, Skycrest Quality Foods acquired Annie Makes Cakes in 2020 as an affiliated brand to further expand and diversify the products in the market.
