Annie Situ (Sydney, Australia) started Annie Makes Cakes with a passion to create heart-warming desserts for family and friends. Her concoctions of flavours, textures and style derive from her love for art and Australian-Chinese heritage.
Annie began to pursue her pastry dream following high school when she was awarded a Patisserie scholarship. Following this, Annie continued to study Hospitality, Tourism and Marketing at UNSW, evolving her passion for pastry and entrepreneurship.
In 2016, Annie continued to execute her creative cake ideas and concepts through the establishment of “Annie Makes Cakes”, with hopes in expanding her brand nationally and internationally.
Annie continues in striving to create a range of authentic cakes made from scratch using only the best ingredients. She aims to creates unique and textural flavour combinations that captures the essence of her ethnic background - and most importantly, her cakes are not overly sweet!
